Olympiakos Volou enjoyed a relatively smooth draw on June 20 for its first ever season in European soccer, making it the favorite to reach the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
The Thessaly team, who also had its first training session for the new season on June 20, will face either Rad Belgrade from Serbia or Tre Penne from San Marino in the second qualifying round.
The first match for the Europa League debutant will be in Serbia or San Marino on July 14, with the return scheduled for July 21 in Volos.
The tie between Rad and Tre Penne will be played on June 30 and July 7.
"Such clubs can be very tricky,» warned experienced Olympiakos Volou striker Ilias Solakis.
