Greek high jumper fails dope test, to miss Games
Greece's world indoor high jump champion Dimitrios Chondrokoukis will pull out of the London Olympics after testing positive for a banned substance, his father said in a statement Thursday.
"Dimitris will not take part in the Olympic Games, leaving unfulfilled a dream of a lifetime,» his father and coach Kyriakos Chondrokoukis said in a statement.
The high jumper has asked for a retest, his father said.
No official statement has been made yet.
