Several organizations are hosting their annual Christmas bazaars this year.

The non-profit organization Athenaeum, created in 1974 in memory of Maria Callas, strives to assist the development and evolution of musical eduaction and culture in Greece.  Their 35-year-strong bazaar is being held everday from December 12 to 31, and homemade jams, artisan vinegars, wine, liquors, sweets, books, DVD's and more will be sold.  For more information, visit www.athenaeum.com.gr.

Christmas decorations, homemade cakes and handicrafts will be available at Au Petit Bonheur kindergarten on Saturday, December 15. Bring your children for face painting. All proceeds go to PIKPA Voula, an organization that hosts disabled children who have been abandoned by their parents.

Raise money for The Salvation Army by donating any new/gently used designer handbags or jewelry at the Helping Handbags luncheon on Thursday, December 20. Donated bags will then be available for purchase in the room adjacent to the luncheon at the Hotel Grande Bretagne. Gifts for needy children are also welcome. Book your seats for lunch (40 euros per person).
