Acclaimed Argentinian dancer Julio Bocca will stage “Bocca Tango,” a performance that combines ballet and tango, at the Badminton Theater Thursday to October 8 (with an additional show scheduled for Sunday afternoon). Bocca will be joined by fellow dancer Cecilia Figaredo and his dance company, the Ballet Argentino, as well as the Octango orchestra that will play compositions by Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel. “Angela Papazoglou,” the play based on a book by Giorgis Papazoglou which in turn is based on the testimony of Smyrna-born singer Angela Papazoglou, is being staged at the Museum of Greek Musical Instruments in Plaka until tomorrow.
