The Athens State Orchestra under Marzio Conti, will perform works by Verdi, Tchaikovsky and others at the Athens Concert Hall tonight, with pianist Vassilis Tsabropoulos. Tomorrow, conducted by Kasper de Roo, the Ergon Ensemble will play works by Cristobal Halffter, Manuel Hidalgo and others.

The semifinals of the Maria Callas Grand Prix international competition for opera singers will take place tonight at the Athens Concert Hall, while the third and final round has been scheduled for Sunday, along with the awards ceremony.
