The 48th Thessaloniki International Film Festival kicks off today in the city’s port warehouse complex and runs to November 25. The festival comprises a total of 230 films from 40 different nations and features a slew of guest stars – including John Malkovich, Asia Argento, Sam Rockwell, Diego Luna, John Sayles, Danny Glover and many more – as well as a number of industry events. The festival will open at 9.30 p.m. at the Olympion Theater with Wong Kar-Wai’s “My Blueberry Nights.”
