‘One in Ten’

Laertis Vassileiou’s successful play about the life and hardships of immigrants in Greece, “One in Ten,” is being staged once more at the Neos Cosmos Theater, at 9.15 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays and at 7.30 p.m. on Sundays. Directed by Vassileiou, the play stars David Maltese, Chris Radanov and Enkelled Fezollari. Performances will run to January 11.

Musicologist Jiannis Tselikas will give a lecture titled “The Course of American Art Music in the Early 20th Century” at the Hellenic American Union tonight. A concert will follow, with a program of works by American composers Walter Piston, Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin, along with Darius Milhaud of France and others. The lecture is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and the concert at 8.30 p.m. Admission is free.

‘Disney on Ice’

The striking ice ballet spectacle, in which 40 ice skater-dancers bring to life the magic of Disney characters, will open at the Tae Kwon Do Stadium of the Faliron Olympic Complex tonight and run to Sunday.
