KARAMANLIS ON THE WAY UP: Thessaloniki, 6 - In the presence of the public order minister, Mr Constantine Karamanlis, the reconstruction of Vassileos Georgiou-Vassilissis Olgas Avenue began today. This road, from which tramlines are already being removed, will reopen to traffic by the end of September. Mr Karamanlis then reviewed work along the coast on a new avenue similar to that between Athens-Eden-Glyfada. The broadcast did not specify the conditions under which he was captured, nor whether he was injured.
