As young group claims hit on ND deputy, police examine ties with old organizations

The government is planning a shake-up of the police's counterterrorism unit and a close examination of suspected links between old and new terrorist groups, sources told Kathimerini after Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire claimed responsibility late on Friday for a time bomb that had detonated outside the Athens home of a prominent conservative member of the European Parliament earlier in the day.
