Buying cheap: It’s your choice
Following a survey conducted last year by Greece's Competition Commission and the allegations of price-fixing leveled against a number of dairy firms in the country, the two market leaders have raised their milk prices. One of the two companies has increased the price of fresh milk by 3.1 percent, while the other on Monday raised that of highly pasteurized milk by 3 percent. These price hikes show that the message sent by the state's responsible authorities has not reached the ears of the big dairy firms.
