Reform needs savvy citizens
National Bank of Greece Governor Giorgos Provopoulos was very clear yesterday when he said that the current growth plan being espoused by the country has become bankrupt and can no longer continue, especially in light of the global financial crisis. The head of the country's biggest bank has issued a warning; the question is when Greece's politicians will assume the decidedly difficult responsibility of telling the people the entire truth about the country's finances.
