The Socialist party in crisis
Ongoing developments within the opposition socialist party PASOK do no credit to its cadres or the political system at large. PASOK is one of Greece's mainstream political parties and one of the pillars of the country's democratic system. The boorish confrontation between the two rival camps is a bad omen for Greece's body politik.
COMMENTARY
Waste and communication
At some point, we will have to ask ourselves one very simple question: What makes a successful or good politician? At a time when so much depends on public relations, we seem to have lost our sense of moderation. And we should ask ourselves why it is that reality so often fails to live up to what the media projects to the public.
