Violence gets you nowhere
Every and any use of violence within any given society - for whatever reason - is a threat to the very principles of democracy. Moreover, the repeated attacks and boorish statements by extremist and terrorist groups against media organizations that we are now having to face is something more - they are nothing less than armed stupidity. If the goal of these organizations is to silence certain opposing or uncomfortable points of view, they should know that that is a goal which is entirely unfeasible.
