REPORT
Scattered clouds and morning showers are forecast for eastern and southern parts of the country, spreading overnight to the west. Snowfall is expected on the mountains of Epirus and western Macedonia. Winds will be variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort, turning southeasterly at 4 to 6 Beaufort in western Greece. Temperatures will range from -6C (21F) to 8C (46F) in the north,

-3C (27F) to 12C (54F) in central parts and 0C (32F) to 15C (59F) elsewhere.

ATHENS: Scattered clouds are expected over the capital with northerly winds at light speeds of up to 3 Beaufort, gradually turning southeasterly in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from a low of 2C (36F) to a high of 12C (54F).

THESSALONIKI: Similar conditions are forecast for the northern port city, with scattered clouds and light variable winds that will later blow in from a southeasterly direction to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from a minimum of -2C (28F) to a maximum of 8C (46F).

OUTLOOK: Heavy showers and rainstorms are forecast over the next couple of days across the whole country, with snowfall expected in mountainous regions. Strong winds will come in from a southerly direction at 7 to 9 Beaufort, gradually turning southwesterly and easing to more moderate speeds. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly.
