Fishermen off the coast of Vouliagmeni in southern Athens got a shock yesterday when a 7.5-meter basking shark got caught up in their nets. The shark, which is a filter feeder, was lifted by crane onto a trailer and taken to a fishfarm in Keratsini where it was examined by a vet.
