Ruling on suspected Greek terrorist due in coming days

A ruling in the trial of Tasos Theofilou, the 31-year-old accused of killing a taxi driver during an armed robbery on the island of Paros in August 2012, is expected in the coming week.

Theofilou is also accused of being linked to urban guerrilla group Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire.

The prosecutor has recommended the judges find him guilty, mainly on the basis of DNA evidence matched to a cap police officers found at the crime scene.

Theofilou, who describes himself as an anarchist and communist, denies the accusations.
