Draft law for reopening ERT clears first hurdle
A draft law paving the way for the reopening of public broadcaster ERT, which was closed in June 2013, was approved in principle by a parliamentary committee but only with the support of the two coalition parties.
New Democracy and PASOK voted against the bill, while Golden Dawn, Potami and the Communist Party said they would reserve judgment for the discussion and vote in the plenary.
