Four Greek universities make world’s top 200 list

Four Greek universities have made it onto a global list of the world’s top 200 institutions.

According to the latest data from global ranking body QS, the National Technical University of Athens (photo) is in joint 29th place in the category of Civil and Structural Engineering with the Indiana-based Purdue University.

The list also includes Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University and the University of Patra in the top 150. The Athens University of Economics and Business is in the top 200 institutions in the category of Economics and Business Administration.

Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continue to dominate the list, leading in 21 subjects between them, while British universities have improved their positions overall, with six separate institutions leading in at least one subject.
