More than 16,000 liters of bootleg liquor seized
The Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) has seized more than 16,000 liters of bootleg alcohol that was destined for manufacturing knockoff drinks to be sold at bars and nightclubs.
The illegal alcohol was found at a warehouse on the country road between Megara and Alepohori, west of Athens, on Saturday.
Two Greek men and an ethnic Greek from Albania were arrested at the warehouse.
In total, 16,210 liters of the illegally manufactured alcohol was found on the premises.
