Socrates Now | Athens | To July 19
The Elliniko Theater presents “Socrates Now,” a solo performance featuring Emmy Award-winner Yannis Simonides in the courtyard of the Athens University Museum in Plaka. The play is a dramatization of the account of the Greek philosopher’s defense before an Athenian court as recorded in Plato’s “Apology.” Shows, in English, runs through Sunday, July 19, at 9 p.m. with Greek supertitles.
