Angelina Jolie visits refugee shelters in Piraeus
Angelina Jolie visited the port of Piraeus on Wednesday in her capacity as Special Envoy of the UNHRC High Commissioner.
The US actress-director met with officials at the port before briefly meeting with refugees temporarily hosted at local shelters.
Jolie was originally scheduled to visit refugee reception centers on the island of Lesvos, but that trip was cancelled.
Reports on Wednesday said she would, however, travel to other areas hosting refugee and migrants during her stay in Greece.
