Two pilots safe after jet trainer crashes near Kalamata
A T-2 jet trainer aircraft crashed shortly after noon close to the Kalamata air force base in the Peloponnese from which it had taken off for a military exercise.
Neither the pilot nor the co-pilot were injured in the crash, according to military sources.
It appears that the plane suffered a malfunction in one of its engines during takeoff.
