Discount cap set at 100 euros for this year’s ENFIA dues
The promised Single Property Tax (ENFIA) discount will have a ceiling of 100 euros per owner, according to an amendment tabled in Parliament for a Health Ministry bill on Wednesday.
At the same time, the government is expanding the number of property owners who will be able to secure a tax reduction, as the value of farmland will not be added to the total value of assets per owner in calculating the reduction.
The Finance Ministry has excluded farmland because it is unable to assess its value, even though that means a number of owners will get to pay less ENFIA tax this year.
