Anadolu news agency Athens correspondent dies at 34
The journalist Furkan Naci Top, who in recent years has been the head of the Turkish news agency Anadolu’s office in Greece, died on Thursday in Istanbul. He was 34.
According to reports, Top died from a very aggressive form of cancer.
Furkan was especially popular among his Greek colleagues and was lauded for his efforts to build bridges of understanding between Greece and Turkey.
