Catalysts for reform

The government’s plan to restore the operation of “model” schools with a proper evaluation of teachers and students will endow the public education system with institutions that foster excellence and promote social mobility.

The big question, and the long-term aim, should be for “model” institutions not to remain isolated cases of good schooling, but to function as examples for the reform of the entire education system.
