Naval exercise off Crete comes to a close
Images were released on Friday of a Hellenic Navy exercise that took place from Monday to Thursday in the Myrtoan Sea and the south Cretan Sea. Frigates, speed boats, submarines, helicopters of the navy’s aviation force and Hellenic Air Force planes took part in the four-day drill. Τhe exercise was aimed at maintaining and increasing the operational readiness and combat capability of the participants, the Hellenic Navy said in a statement.
