Health policy credibility
One would have expected us to at least be able to agree on this: The country needs scientists and their independent and sober findings. That is why scientists should not be used by the opposition for cheap attacks. Nor should they be used as lightning rods.
It is not the prestige of these individuals that is threatened by this over-politicization. It is the credibility of our health policy itself that is in peril.
