Greece’s current account shows gap in September, tourism revenues plunge

Greece's current account balance showed a deficit in September compared to a surplus in the same month last year due to a hit on tourism, data from the Bank of Greece showed on Friday.

Central bank data showed the deficit at 499 million euros ($591.68 million) from a surplus of 914.2 million euros in September 2019. [Reuters]
