Prime Minister speaks to…

Prime Minister George Papandreou (l) speaks to his counterparts from Albania, Sali Berisha (c), and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Gruevski (r), during an informal meeting at the Prespes Lakes National Park yesterday. Officially, the aim of the meeting is to discuss the possible launch of a joint initiative for the conservation of the region of the Prespes Lakes, one of which occupies territory in Greece, Albania and FYROM. But it is expected that Papandreou will also broach the issue with Gruevski of an ongoing dispute between Greece and FYROM over the Balkan country’s name.
