Shooting for Martin Campbell’s ‘Dirty Angels’ begins in Thessaloniki

Film studio Millennium Media is back in Thessaloniki, shooting its fifth production in the picturesque northern port city in a year and a half.

The US company will start filming at different locations all across the city on Monday for “Dirty Angels,” an action thriller directed by Martin Campbell and starring Maria Bakalova, Eva Green and Ruby Rose.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Alissa Silverman’s story is set against the backdrop of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 and “follows a group of female soldiers posing as medical relief who are sent back in to rescue a group of kidnapped teenagers caught between ISIS and the Taliban.”
