Michalarias’s Art City opens doors to general public

And because life must go on, and we all seek an antidote to thoughts of the world’s current troubles, Art City, founded by Stavros Michalarias at the 38th kilometer of the Athens-Lamia Highway is now open to the public daily except Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entrance is free. A good idea for a weekend drive for the family. The adults can visit the collections of art, carpets and antique furniture as well as the sculpture exhibition by Theodoros Papayiannis in the Atrium, while the children can amuse themselves in the playground. There is also a cafe and plenty of parking space. For further information, call 22950.98222 or 22950.98135. Michalarias is a well-known art restorer and dealer, ably assisted by his wife Teti.
