Chef Evi Voutsina dies

Noted Greek chef and author Evi Voutsina, 63, died on Wednesday. Born on the Ionian island of Lefkada in 1950, Voutsina penned several books on Greece’s culinary traditions, including bread and Kozani saffron.

The culinary expert was a regular contributor to Kathimerini daily newspaper as well as the publication’s monthly gastronomy supplement, Gastronomos.
