Ithaca May 2003, published by the National Book Center, offers worthwhile fare. Elias Youris provides a useful introduction to the highly original work of Nikos Gabriel Pentzikis, whose writing embraced both modernity and tradition. There is an interview with internationally acclaimed Greek photographer Nikos Economopoulos, who talks about his ties to the Balkans.
