Depy Chandris brightens up wintry Swiss resort with VIP dinner and fashion show

There was a shower of VIPs, both Greek and foreign, at Gstaad, all invited by Depy Chandris to two special events. After the invasion of tourists for the New Year, Gstaad has returned to its normal serenity and its real self. Greeks and foreigners who have their own chalets or apartments in large hotels there choose to visit at this time to enjoy the snow and the charms of the most renowned cosmopolitan resort in Europe. All together they made up a group that the paparazzi could only dream of. The opportunity came with the double invitation from Depy Chandris, who is one of the group and whose arrival brightened everything up, bringing a luster that comes both from the jewelry she showed from her collection, and her own eccentric but elegant presence at a dinner for a select group of jet-setting guests. This was on Feb. 22, when she exhibited her most recent work in the main hall of the Grand Hotel Park, seen in Athens last year at the opening of the Hotel Grande Bretagne on December 17. Andy Warhol discovered Chandris in the early 1980s and was her regular escort.
