2004 Olympic city gets a new guide in Spanish

Maria Vasilaki, who works at the Spanish Embassy in Athens, has written a tourist guide to Athens in Spanish that has been selling so fast it is now in its second edition, with additional pages of information on the Olympic Games, the venues, security, tickets and prices and the marathon route, and illustrated with the Olympic mascots Phevos and Athena. She also describes Greek customs and how they differ from those in other cultures, all in good humor, a style that should find imitators in other guidebooks on the city.
