Welcoming feedback from readers

Readers of our paper and our online edition often write asking for information about the books reviewed on this page. As other readers abroad may face similar difficulties in locating titles, we would like to share the results of some recent inquiries about the availability of specific books. An article on Greek children’s books prompted a request from Australia about bookshops that carry Greek titles. Kedros publishers advise that their books can be found at the following stores in Australia: Foreign Language Bookshop, Centreway, 259 Collins St, Melbourne 3000. Tel. 03-9654.2883. Fax 03-9650.7664. Multilingual Library Books International, Brendale 4500 PO Box 5438, Queensland. Tel. 07-3285.3294. Mention of Petros Markaris’s whodunit «The Late-Night News» sparked an inquiry from England. Harvill Press tells us that Borders have ordered the book, Hatchards and Books Etc. have it, and so does Waterstones, at a number of branches. Kathimerini English Edition welcomes your feedback.
