Music conference Tomorrow-May 9: Running parallel to the series of concert is a conference titled «Greek Music in the Era of Globalization,» scheduled to take place at the Athens Concert Hall’s Conference Center. The event is co-organized by the Athens Concert Hall, the Athens State Orchestra and the Department of Music Studies at the University of Athens. Similar to the concerts, the conference will cover a broad range of subjects, featuring keynote speeches on a variety of themes spanning ancient Greek music, contemporary musical creation, folk tradition and Greek song.
