Vanessa Redgrave performs at Delphi
Distinguished British actress Vanessa Redgrave appears at the open-air theater at the European Cultural Center of Delphi tonight in a single performance of Euripides’ «Hecuba» within the framework of the center’s annual meeting on ancient drama and contemporary tragedy, this year titled «The Year of Pericles – The Year of Democracy.» The play is being staged in a new version by the director and translator Tony Harrison.
