Daniel Day-Lewis coming to Athens’s Premiere Nights
Oscar-winning British actor Daniel Day-Lewis will be back in Athens on September 17. Last year he came to promote Martin Scorsese’s «Gangs of New York,» for which he was once again a candidate for an Academy Award for the leading male role. This year he will attend Premier Nights with his wife, the actress, writer and director Rebecca Miller, who is the daughter of playwright Arthur Miller. Day-Lewis will attend the premiere of «Jack and Rose: Ballad for Two,» on condition that the proceeds go to Cerebral Palsy Greece, a cause of which he is a friend and firm supporter.
