American College
To celebrate the 130th anniversary of the American College in Greece, a concert of American music is to be held at the Athens Concert Hall on October 5. The State Orchestra of Thessaloniki will play works by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Edward Macdowell, conducted by Dimitris Toufexis, with soloists Virginia Eskin and Michael Lewin. The concert begins at 8.30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the theater.
