GB hosts display of jewelry to be auctioned by Christie’s

The magnificent jewels that Christie’s is to auction in Geneva on November 16 at the Hotel Richmond will be on display at the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens on Monday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday at 10 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. By the time of the auction, the collection, which includes a precious 50-carat diamond, Rene Kern’s ring with a single yellow diamond, and a Cartier bracelet, will have traveled the world, starting in Moscow and going on to Athens, London, New York and Hong Kong. Christie’s has invited collectors and friends to a private showing of the jewelry at a buffet dinner to be attended by Pedro Girao, deputy chairman of Christie’s International. The exhibition in Athens is organized by Titi Angelopoulos and Lola Theodora Stephanidou of Art Expertise.
