Lectures, conferences this week

In Monday the Constantine Karamanlis Institute for Democracy, the Publicis group, French Ambassador Bruno Delaye and the French Institute of Athens are hosting a lecture by Christophe Lambert, president of the Publicis-Conseil at the institute’s amphitheater, at 31 Sina, on «Can France avoid the ‘society of fear,’ and can Greece?» Entrance is free. Simultaneous interpreting will be provided. The next day, Tuesday, the INSEAD Alumni Association of Greece is holding a conference titled «Globalization: Where will you be in five years?» at the Old Parliament building, at 7.30 p.m. A reception will follow. Speakers are John Clarkeson, chairman of the Boston Consulting Group, Ludo Van der Heyden, INSEAD professor, and Ulysses Kyriakopoulos, chairman of the Federation of Greek Industries.
