Conference held in New York to promote Greek studies abroad

Athens University Rector Georgios Babiniotis and the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation’s president, Antonis Papadimitriou, will meet the press on Wednesday to brief them on a conference held in New York by the foundation’s affiliate there and the university. The conference, led by Babiniotis, was about Greek studies in the United States, Canada and South America. The rector will report on the conference and the prospects of promoting Greek studies abroad in cooperation with Greek universities and other institutions, while Papadimitriou will talk about the foundation’s efforts to promote Greek studies abroad.
