Kedros Publishers and the Benaki Museum are holding events in memory of the writer Giorgos Ioannou on the 20th anniversary of his death. Panayiotis Moullas, Giorgos Skambardonis and Costis Gimosoulis will present «Me ton Rithmo tis Psychis» («At the Pace of the Soul»), a collection of texts about Ioannou by 29 writers on Wednesday, March 8 at 8 p.m. After the launch is the opening of an exhibition of paintings by 32 artists, inspired by Ioannou’s work. Journalism That evening at 7.30 p.m., Panteion University’s Department of Communication, Media and Culture and Kastaniotis are holding a public discussion with American author and journalist Bill Kovach on traditional journalism and the challenge of the new media at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (48 Vas. Kovach is the co-author with Tom Rosenstiel of «Elements of Journalism: What Newspeople Should Know and the Public Should Expect.» The speakers are Stelios Papathanassopoulos, Nikos Leandros and Dimitris Mitropoulos.
