A fortunate coincidence…
A fortunate coincidence for the Derek Jarman retrospective, which includes his film ‘Caravaggio,’ is the exhibition ‘Caravaggio and the 17th Century’ now being held at the Museum of Cycladic Art with three paintings by the Italian master. President Karolos Papoulias (center) opened the exhibition. At left is Italian Ambassador Gian Paolo Cavarai and to the right of Papoulias is Culture Minister Giorgos Voulgarakis.
