MIKRES PERIPLANISIS

‘Ke me odigo mou ena pedi’ This band from the Greek island of Kos, introduced to us in 1991 by the seasoned singer-songwriter Nikos Papazoglou, who produced their debut album, is back with its fifth release. True to their sound, the islanders take us on another musical journey through calm waters. It’s instantly appealing, and there’s a definite scent of the islands in the lyrics and music. Of the 17 tracks, written by an act still free enough to dream and philosophize, three are instrumentals. The singing duties are shared by Nikos Arbilias and Manthos Arbelias. Papazoglou guests for one number.
