‘Vrochi ton asteron’ The success of a similar-minded album by Glykeria prompted the long-serving singer to go for the same formula with her latest outing. A mainstream effort with contributions from pop idol Michalis Hadziyiannis, the album includes «ethnic» spice from local Latin act Apurimac, artier Greek music endeavors courtesy of Stamatis Kraounakis and Haris Alexiou, as well as the popular Greek style from Stelios Fotiadis. But I like Glykeria’s new songs and respect her versatility, as she continues to devote herself to her songs, remaining a poised, enduring force.
