Writing courses start up

Metaichmio publishers had such a roaring success with the seminars they started holding recently on varied aspects of writing at their new multipurpose premises, that they have already organized a new series, starting in February. The creative-writing seminar led by Giorgos Xenarios starts on February 12, as does writing for theater with Andreas Staikos while creative writing led by Costas Katsoularis begins two days later. Women’s writing with Argyro Mantoglou begins on February 15, correct use of Modern Greek with Ina Anagnostopoulou starts in March, and editing-proofreading with Anna Iordanidou in April. All the seminars are in Greek and are of 30 hours’ duration, except for the editing-proofreading seminar, which lasts 90 hours. A brief CV and a sample of writing are required for the creative-writing workshop. (For further information, call 211.300.3500 ext. 500.
