‘Haven’t you seen the new Harry Potter film?’
Everyone lucky enough to have a child (or children) to take to see the new Harry Potter film won’t have to make excuses for enjoying that sophisticated fairy tale of an apprentice wizard and his friends who have grown up before our very eyes, both on the screen and in the pages of the seven books by J.K. Rowling. The latest film, «Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,» the fifth in the series, was directed by David Yates and, as always, Daniel Radcliffe is Harry Potter (a wonder that he hasn’t forgotten his real name). At the end of the movie, there would be resounding applause if most hands weren’t holding popcorn and soft drinks. When the lights go on at Village cinemas around Athens, there is pandemonium. A magic soup would not go amiss.
