Music and diplomacy at the Athens Concert Hall
On the occasion of the visit of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ambassador of Sweden Marten Grunditz together with Matti and Nicholas Egon are holding an invitation-only reception for music lovers attending the concert at the Athens Concert Hall on Monday. Vladimir Ashkenazy, leading musician and conductor of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, will be present at the reception, which will be in the Balcony Foyer. Ashkenazy has many ties with Greece and has been part of some great musical moments in this country at the Herod Atticus Theater and at the Athens Concert Hall.
